For years the Bucharest-Kyiv air route has been served by a whopping zero airlines. This despite the fact that Romania and Ukraine share a long border, a hatred of Russia and do much trade together.
But now, thanks to the people at Carpat Air, there will be a direct air link from Bucharest to Kyiv as of June 2, 2008.
Now all Bucharest needs is a flight to Belgrade (no, there isn't one...)
