To celebrate their pop-up store at 44 Stanley, makers of South Africa’s most beautiful blankets Something Good Studio are giving away an exclusive art blanket worth R3,250 in our #SomethingGoodWinter competition!
A beautiful way to keep warm this winter, Something Good Studio‘s exclusive range of ‘art blankets’ have been designed by leading South African illustrators including award-winning street artist Karabo Poppy Moletsane (who also designed the new mural on Soweto’s iconic cooling towers), illustrator and animator Fran Labuschhagne, graphic artist Renee Rossouw and young illustrator and art director Tammy Joubert.
Celebrating local craftsmanship and community farmers, each 100% cotton blanket is jacquard-woven and made using locally sourced and dyed fibres with a meticulous attention to detail. Part of a limited edition range, each luxurious 130cm x 180cm blanket is a statement piece, perfect for snuggling up in winter, enjoying a spring picnic, spreading out on the beach in the summer, or hang it on your wall as an art work.
