The first We Are Egg store opened in the summer in Cape Town and a Joburg branch is planned for The Zone @Rosebank in 2021. The ultra-cool store showcases unique and cutting edge local and international beauty, fashion, accessories and wellness brands, complemented by in-store food offerings from top local chefs and a variety of cool spaces.
Roger Ballen’s Photography Centre
Originally slated to open in 2020 (this photo was taken then and is from Roger Ballen’s Instagram), this year should see the grand opening of an exciting new Joburg art destination, The Roger Ballen Centre for Photographic Arts. Based just off Jan Smuts Avenue in Forest Town it will showcase the latest in contemporary photography, including of course, plenty of work by the world-famous Joburg-based photographer himself.
