Every month we look back at the most popular reads on the Johannesburg In Your Pocket website to bring you the past month’s biggest stories in case you missed ’em.

TRENDING IN JUNE: Coronavirus cases in South Africa began to rapidly increase in June and by the middle of the month Gauteng was officially declared to be in the third wave. Now more than ever you, our readers, have been looking for places to spend time safely outdoors, whether at an outdoor restaurant, countryside hiking trail or drive-in cinema. As of June 28, 2021 the country entered a Level 4 lockdown, meaning Joburgers must give up these pleasures for safety and again stay at home as we battle the third wave.
