TRENDING IN AUGUST: After an infamously awful month of July which included sub-zero temperatures, a Level 4 lockdown, violent unrest and a third wave peak, August gave us all a little space to breathe (albeit with many restrictions still in place). Each short film is shot in a different Gauteng location, using film, sound and language to capture the interaction between space, the body and movement. Under the Level 4 lockdown Joburgers were confined to Gauteng as leisure travel beyond provincial borders was banned.
