Msaki live at Lyric Theatre

FRI FEB 25 SAMA-nominated vocalist and guitarist Msaki takes to The Lyric Theatre stage at Gold Reef City for an evening of soulful music from her album PlatinumB Heart. Msaki shares the stage at this special concert with the current Standard Bank Young Artist award winner for dance Kristi-Leigh Gresse and supporting act Vinnie Mak from ALTBLK. UMI – Our Music Festival

SAT FEB 26 The UMI – Our Music Festival, organised by one of Joburg’s favourite monthly parties Feel Good Series, returns to Victoria Yards with an exciting line-up of live music and DJ sets. Feel Good Series is loved for its eclectic musical landscape, its unique city locations, and its fun-loving alternative crowd and their UMI music festival brings the addition of live music and pop-up bars into this vibrant mix. Urban Village and The Brother Moves On at Mangrove

SAT FEB 26 Braamfontein’s Mangrove takes things to the next level with this fantastic all-day live music lineup featuring many of Joburg’s most popular acts. The biggest highlights of the bill include indie-folk funk quartet Urban Village from Soweto, the always exciting and innovative alternative collective The Brother Moves On and Xhosa urban-folk duo Umle, from Gqeberha. Bryanston Market Moonlight Market

FRI FEB 25 Bryanston Market’s Moonlight Markets are back, now happening on the last Friday of every month. Always a very family-orientated space it’s a great place to bring the kids with arts and crafts activities to take part in, live entertainment, great gift shopping plus tons of delicious food stalls. The market opens from 17:00 until 21:00.

Vintage Society 2.0 featuring Goodluck

FRI FEB 25 The Vintage Society treats wine lovers and music fans to a pop-up wine bar event at the Level Three Premium venue in Kramerville. In addition to delicious food and wine there’s also live music from Goodluck, Jordan Arts, and Vimo to name a few. Level Three is located at 14 Kramer Rd, Kramerville. Tickets R100, buy them online here. Doors open at 16:00, free entrance for ladies until 19:00.
