London is one of the most famous cities in the world for tourists. People travel from all over to visit, and even people living in England will often arrange trips to the Capital. As well as being diverse, there is just simply so much to see and do in London, which is the primary reason for its popularity.
Take in a Football Game
It often gets overlooked where London is concerned, but there are actually some excellent options if you want to take in a high-level football game. Visiting the Emirates is a great choice right now; one only needs to visit any of the recognised bookmakers online covering the top football betting markets to prove this, with Arsenal leading the way in the Premier League. But there are also plenty of other top-flight teams and stadiums to visit, and England’s home Wembley Stadium is also located in London. There’s no better place on earth to watch football right now.
Sip on Some Cocktails
London, as the hub of the UK, is littered with great pubs and bars. And, if you’re a cocktail fan, you will undoubtedly be in the right place. The Connaught Bar happens to be one of the best venues to visit if you have a penchant for cocktails, and with it being located in Mayfair, it’s got all the added extras that come with being in such a high-end area of the city. As well as there being some excellent cocktails to sip, which are always prepared in front of you, the bar looks the part, too, with all the glamour you could ever dream of or ask for.
Visit the Royal Opera House
The Royal Opera House in London is one of the most iconic venues the UK has to offer, and it’s famous around the world. When you visit the Royal Opera House, you can take in some great shows and even the ballet. So, visitors are always destined to have a great time, especially if they sit on the third-floor balcony, as this is apparently the prime position for the best audio experience. And it’s worth noting that it’s also possible to pay to go behind the scenes on a guided tour, something that is more than worth doing at least once in a lifetime.
Dance the Night away at Printworks
As you will expect of a city of London’s reputation and stature, there are some superb nightclubs in the area. And many of them are iconic and world-renowned. However, while this may be the case, one club that tops them all is Printworks. As you may gather from the name, Printworks is a venue that was formerly a printworks, and therefore there are those real raw and industrial vibes that you don’t get anywhere else. It’s one of the venue’s main attractions. The other is that some of the top music artists and DJs naturally want to play there, and you get to dance the night away to the sounds but, again, in that true raw style.
