The festive season has long gone and we look forward to the warmer part of the year, however, we are still in the middle of winter, so let’s make the best of it.
February still gives us a chance to take a view the last beams of light which come from the Royal Gardens of Light in Wilanów. The illuminated park is only available till the 23rd February 2020.
If you would like to do a little more than walking then I suggest trying out ice skating. There are several spots in Warsaw which offer this activity. The most picturesque rink one is located at the Market Square in the Old Town (p.32). The largest rink is situated inside the PGE National Stadium. It offers a range of activities like the curling and sledge track as well as the winter bar to warm up.
The same venue offers also an exhibition which will amaze adults and children: The Lego Buildings Exhibition will present over 120 constructions which have never been displayed in Warsaw. Until the 8th March.
After a long day exploring the city you simply cannot miss Warsaw’s amazing and versatile food scene. One of the restaurants that recently joined the city’s list of impressive eateries is called Epoka. It offers set menus with Polish recipes that date back to the XVII century. The meals are prepared under the watchful eye of Marcin Przybysz who has worked with some of the world’s best chefs. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience then this is a place you should not overlook.
Please remember that in case of any questions, you may always refer to the concierge in your hotel. We will be glad to assist you. We are waiting for you in Warsaw!
