Art in Poland One On One

Art in PL 1-on-1 is an initiative of Poland In Your Pocket to promote the local art scene and foster collaboration with local partners.

Idea

One Work of Art, One Author. A series of short online articles on art in Poland, with the contribution of museums, art galleries, cultural institutions and other art stakeholders.

Each entry (blog post) will focus on one piece of art (in any discipline) and will be approached through a particular standpoint by one author.

The works of art can belong to Polish or international artists as long as they are currently on display in Poland.

The author of the article can be directly or indirectly associated with the institution or venue where the work is located: directors, curators, artists, staff, academic advisors, art historians or any individual with an interesting insight on the work of art.

Promote local art and cultural institutions
Showcase Polish art and artists
Increase the online visibility of local exhibitions and art related events
Widen the audience to all English-speaking visitors to Poland
Reinforce partnerships with local institutions (media sponsorships and promotion)
Open and explore new possibilities of collaboration with partners (online publications, online shop, print publications such as “art maps”)

What do we do

Your Institution

Poland In Your Pocket

Choose the work of art.
Find and communicate with the author.
Make sure the author delivers the text according to your own timeline.
Provide any visual materials for the article (photos, videos…).
Disseminate blog post in social media channels.

Proofread and correct the article in contact with the institution/author.
Add all deep-links and do-follow links in the text (links to content about the institution, artist, event…)
Upload and format the article for the blog.
Add products or competitions related to work of art (exhibition) in blog.
Disseminate the blog post in social media channels.
